The first page shows images available using the first key in the A row. ©2010 Cara Miller www.caramiller.com A I actually place the tab at the top of the next page so that when my booklet is closed, I can see the letter on my yellow tab clearly.

Yes, we are going to repeat! : 

Yes, we are going to repeat! Next row starts 10 pages later. Place the B tab down just a bit lower on the next page so they will line up when your booklet is closed. Ten pages later… Yes, place your C tab. For Row D… ten more pages and place your D tab … same way Are they lining up? You can adjust til they look right! Finally 10 pages later and add tab E … almost at the bottom and then your booklet will look like this: ©2010 Cara Miller www.caramiller.com

Use Sharpie to number the pages Start with the first page in the A section… Number A pages 1-10 Onto the B section … 1-10 there too Repeat for all 5 sections. 1 2

Now…just like BINGO : 

Now…just like BINGO If I tell you Press key E5 you will look in the E row, count over 5 and VOILA! We are both talking about the same key. I can go to my booklet and see all the various shapes I can cut with that key … easy …except for the FONT! ©2010 Cara Miller www.caramiller.com Wait…there are letters?!?!

The keypad matches your computer keyboard…. ©2010 Cara Miller www.caramiller.com Look at the computer keys and see which row the letter you want is in. Go to your booklet section (ABCDorE) and find your letter .. What number is that key? How do I know where they are?

Gather your cardstock stash : 

Gather your cardstock stash I love Core’dinations cardstock and generally turn to that as my old favorite…but these buildings have itty bitty folds and would work better with a smooth cardstock on some of the cuts.

First the forest! :

Now Key E2 : 

Now Key E2 Dark Green Mat Size Dial on 4” No creative features Key E2 Shift Key E2 Cut Notice one has a slit from the top and the other has a slot at the bottom. Slide the tree together, You will have 2 of the shorter trees and 4 of the taller trees.

Time to add houses : 

Time to add houses Load Ivory cardstock Size dial 5 ½ Key E4 CUT Load Tan cardstock (this is the inside liner of the house and will show through the windows) Same settings, same size dial Shift Key E4 CUT Load red cardstock Layers Creative Features ON Same size dial 5 ½ Key E4 CUT Load Green Cardstock Layers Creative Feature ON Size Dial on 5 ½ Shift Key E4 CUT

Grab your hammer…um glue! : 

Grab your hammer…um glue! I used Beacon 3 in 1 glue (of Zip Dry works good) There are folding instructions in the back of the booklet…yes really! And they are really helpful!

Some tips…. : 

Some tips…. There are fold marks but you need to have good lighting to see them! Use a bone folder to get good straight folds You are building a house so if your corners are not square, your house will tip a bit…it may look like Who-Ville but I like the Whos!
