Get Your Mats Ready : 

Get Your Mats Ready I used 2 mats so I could easily switch from color to color. Cut 2 6x12 strips. One each from light green and dark green cardstock. Apply to Cricut mats.

Load Light Green Mat : 

Load Light Green Mat Set Dial Size at 5” After this cut, the blade will stop just below the cut, ready to cut the rest of your mat. DO NOT UNLOAD MAT. Make all three cuts without removing mat. PRESS “It’s Your Day” then CUT

Pssst…. : 

Pssst…. If you already unloaded the mat, put mat back in by hitting load paper. Using the arrow keys surrounding the cut button, move the blade back to where it ended – on the right hand side of the mat just below the design it just cut. IMPORTANT: Press SET PAPER SIZE and the Cricut will now work with the uncut paper you have left on the mat.

We are now going to cut 2 framed squares. : 

We are now going to cut 2 framed squares. Set Size Dial at 3”. Press R key twice! Set paper size button will tell machine that we only have the small amount of paper left to cut. It is not absolutely necessary if you have not unloaded your paper and re set the location of your blade but it will not hurt your Cricut and it is a good safety tip.

Again…DO NOT UNLOAD MAT. : 

Again…DO NOT UNLOAD MAT. Set Dial Size at 2” and press “blurb” key twice.

Now switch to the DARK GREEN mat. : 

Now switch to the DARK GREEN mat. Set Dial Size at 5” and Cut Title SHADOW Again… DO NOT UNLOAD MAT.

If you already did, reload mat. Position Blade and hit set paper size. :

Now the word bubbles from dark green…. :

Cuts complete…Add photos : 

Cuts complete…Add photos Crop your photos to fit your frames and mats: Mat= 2 ½ “ photo Frame=3” photo Use your adhesive to attach. Layer Title and shadow and attach. Layer speech bubbles as shown in layout photo: Light green blurb frame, dark green blub, light green blurb center. Arrange on white cardstock and journal in blurbs.
