(What is your name?) *used when speaking to those who you do not know well or parents\teachers\and people with higher status

(So, so, goodbye, Marcello!) « arrivederla » is used because Marcello and Giacomo do not know each other very well Marcello : Arrivederci! (Goodbye!)
