Home Screen : 

Home Screen From the home screen, you can choose to log various events, including: Stool Pain Level Stress Level Meals Missed Medications -------------------------------------------- You can see the latest event logged. You can tell friends about the app. You can visit our site. The bottom navigation menu provides access to other sections of the app.

Log Stool : 

Log Stool From the Log Stool page, you can log the symptoms of each bowel movement, including: Form Blood Urgency -------------------------------------------- You can add notes using the notepad in the upper right corner. You can log bowel movements from the past by simply selecting “set time” and then logging. It is very important to actively log your symptoms. The more you use the app., the more likely it is to help your doctor.

Log Pain Level : 

Log Pain Level From the Log Pain Level page, you can log your pain level. If you haven’t logged your pain in 24 hours, GI Monitor will remind you. --------------------------------------------- You can add notes using the notepad in the upper right corner. You can log pain from the past by simply selecting “set time” and then logging. NOTE: Its important to keep track of your pain, as this is a key contributor to “My Status”.

Log Stress level : 

Log Stress level From the Log Stress Level page, you can log your stress level. -------------------------------------------- You can add notes using the notepad in the upper right corner. You can log stress from the past by simply selecting “set time” and then logging. NOTE: Stress is not included in the calculation for “My Status”. It is intended for patients to stay aware of their stress levels and see how their other symptoms may be related to stress.

Log a Meal : 

Log a Meal From the Log a Meal page, you can log the digestion difficulty of your meals and add meal details. --------------------------------------------- You can add notes using the notepad in the upper right corner. You can log meals from the past by simply selecting “set time” and then logging.

Log Missed Medications : 

Log Missed Medications From the Log Missed Medications page, you can keep track of missed medications and your reason for missing them. This will be very helpful to you, your physician and researchers. --------------------------------------------- You can log missed meds from the past by simply selecting “set time” and then logging. To add a custom reason for missing meds, select “Other” in the upper right corner.

My Status : 

My Status From the My Status page, you can view GI Monitor’s proprietary quality of life score (based on a simple scale of 1-10.) Any date range can be selected to view your status during a given time period. Either select a preset date range or set your own by selecting “Date Range” View your report Send your report in an email “My Status” 1-10 score is based on a weighted algorithm that considers stool frequency, pain, urgency, form and blood. It is intended to be a relative index of your status for any given date range.

Daily Logs : 

Daily Logs From the Daily Logs page, you can view details from any symptom or event logged. Choose any event in the top menu to view the daily logs. NOTE: Made a mistake on a log? No problem. Simply drag your finger over any individual log from left to right and delete that log! You can also use the “Edit” button.

Medications : 

Medications From the Medications page, you can add, edit and view your history of medications. NOTE: You add a medication by selecting “+” in the upper right hand corner. IF YOU DON’T SEE YOUR MEDICATION LISTED, SELECT THE “+” IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER AGAIN AND YOU CAN ADD YOUR MEDICATION TO THE MASTER LIST.

Settings : 

Settings From the Settings page, you can manage all of your profile information and application settings. NOTES: “Bowel Movements Per Day Normal for Me” is intended to be a benchmark for your “normalcy”. When you are in remission or feeling your best, how often are you going? This helps GI Monitor track your relative status. If you are concerned about privacy, you can password protect your app. so others can’t access it.
