Slide 3 :Through a photograph, you will soon come face to face
Slide 4 :with someone living at an orphanage
Slide 5 :somewhere else in the world
Slide 6 :children are brought to orphanages for various reasons… including abandonment, neglect, and abuse
Slide 7 :however resilience
is
powerful
Slide 8 :kids in orphanages emanate hope
Slide 9 :and strive freely for happiness
Slide 10 :more than anything they deserve respect
Slide 11 :therefore this
project
is
about celebration
Slide 12 :through your artwork you will share life and friendship
Slide 13 :you will use your talents to create an original portrait to offer a special memory of childhood
Slide 14 :kids in orphanages rarely receive gifts as unique as these
Slide 15 :you might even receive something in return “thank you so much for drawing me I am very happy to have you as a friend never forget you have a friend in me…”
Slide 16 :to begin spend some time looking at the photograph you receive
Slide 17 :the child’s parents may have died from simply because they could not afford AIDS that could have been medicine free
Slide 19 :or, the child might live in an orphanage because of a war that did not need to be fought
Slide 21 :whatever the reason the child is alive and has dreams to accomplish
Slide 22 :the portrait you make will honor the child’s identity
Slide 23 :and that is truly a gift
Slide 24 :So get out your materials and have fun
Slide 26 :you definitely do have the power to bring joy to others.
