Introduction:

Introduction Culture is concerned with beliefs and values on the basis of which people interpret experiences and behave, individually and in groups. It’s a set of norms, guidelines, or expectations that prescribe appropriate kinds of behavior by employees in particular situations and control the behavior of organizational members towards one another.

New culture please ! New culture cannot be a simple thing to be introduced into an organization. Most of the resistance to the change in the culture comes from the organizations greatest asset – “ Employees ”

Job Satisfaction:

Job Satisfaction Satisfied employees turns to be more productive, creative & committed to their employers. Few organizations have made job satisfaction a top priority. Simple + Complex = Human Nature

Leadership style:

Leadership style Are culture and leadership style related to each other? Yes of course, leadership style is a part of the organizations culture They greatly influence in sustaining and retaining of the employee’s

Motivation:

Motivation The subject of motivation is not clearly understood and more often poorly practiced. To understand motivation, one must understand human nature itself

Conclusion ( Employer + Employee ) X Culture = Performance & Productivity Employee must be allowed to internalize himself with the company’s culture & values to know whether employee can cope with the organization’s culture and perform on his job Effort to retain an employee can be minimized if the company’s culture is nurtured very well. Culture tends to change with time, but make sure it doesn’t have a negative impact on employees behavior over a period of time
