Slide 1: 

Story from Mom Nicki Lyles: On April 28 2011, we brought her to St.Josephs Children's Hospital for a high fever and swollen lymph nodes. They started doing blood work on her and the results came back bad. They told us they wanted to keep her for more testing. On Friday April 29 they did a bone marrow aspiration on her, it showed that she has Leukemia. We have been in the hospital on and off and back on again since then….

Slide 2: 

She spent 13 days the first visit, we went home for two days came back because she was having chest pains. Come to find out that was acid reflux. The day they were going to send us home her sugar spiked, then she was diagnosed with steroid induced diabetes. After they got her on insulin and got that going good they sent us home. While in the hospital that time she had an allergic reaction to some tape they had used on her which started out as a rash so they thought it was ok and they  sent us home. We were home for three days and we had to bring her back for an infection in that spot which is located on her chest. ……

Slide 3: 

Since then we have not left. She has had a possible stroke on top of multiple seizures. They have started her on meds for the seizures and they seem to have things under control right now. We knew it was going to be rough but we didn't know it was going to be like this. She is trying to come back around to herself so just keep praying for her and things are going to keep getting better.
