Slide 3: Now it is going broke and will rob younger generations of their savings. Slide 4: Once upon a time, Medicare was created to provide health care for the elderly. Slide 5: Now it, too, is on its way to bankruptcy. Slide 6: Once upon a time, public housing was created to house the poor Slide 7: Instead, it created ghettos of crime and hopelessness Slide 8: Once upon a time, Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac bought sub-prime loans to make home ownership accessible to the poor Slide 9: Then these loans became the catalyst for today’s financial panic Slide 10: Now for the moral… Slide 11: What government programs are politicians selling us this election year? Slide 12: How soon before they, too, end in disaster? Slide 13: Have we not learned anything about government programs? Slide 14: Government is not the answer. Government is the problem.
