What different types of equipments are used in football? Helmet Shoulder pads Thigh pads Knee pads Hip pads Cup (very important) Mouth guard Cleats Gloves Under armor Tape Football Turf grass Uprights Tee Belt Elbow pads (not really needed that much)

Gloves &Tee : 

Gloves &Tee Football gloves are used for better grip, so it helps a lot to catch better, specially if you’re a wide receiver. Tee is used for kicking the ball, like on a kick off, it makes the ball stable for the kicker.

Evolution/History of the Gloves Football gloves were made for protection in cold weathers and also for grip, back in the days they used tape on their fingers for better grip.

How did polymers improved football gloves? Due to the good durability and resistance to moisture, The gloves a strong sticky feeling from the palms to the finger tips. When the glove gets dry it’s no good, that’s why you should always put water on it and dry the water out to get grip back.

Evolution/History of a Tee A tee doesn’t really have any history behind it, it’s just that the kickers just needed a more stable form to kick the ball and that’s how the tee was made.
