Sports medicine is a wide field of science to care, treatment and preventions of sport related injuries.Type of People: Type o f People Athletic trainer- who interacts with athletes on a daily basis. We also have the fully trained people who are medical doctors who might specialize in orthopedic surgery or cardiac rehabilitation.Educational Requirements: Educational Requirements You must have a M.D. and a specialized residency, but at the minimum, a career as a sports medical professional requires you a degree from an accredited academic institution, state certification, and state licensure.
