Character Dave-Main character- He was the little boy that had to travel to different foster homes and have no one to get love by.
Setting :
Setting Daily City, California, 1970 Different foster homes
Plot:
Plot Dave was going through different foster parents houses and wanted an actual family to live with and call home. Man vs. himself-Although he was young he was all alone and had to no one to go to. He had to figure things out alone and work out a good way to live. Dave’s will and power to push himself makes the story that more interesting therefore moving the story forward. The climax is when he was doing fine at a foster home with good friends that accept him for who he is, but then he had to move away from all that because his foster parents needed a break from parenting.
Theme:
Theme The theme of The Lost Boy is to never give up and to all push yourself to the max. Don’t let other people bring you down from their mistakes.
Summary:
Summary As Dave grew up in his unstable house with his abusive mother he finally got the break of his life. Teachers realized what was going on and spoke to cops. Dave later got taken from his mom in placed into foster care. He had it rough moving from foster home to foster home. In the end he made it and had a wonderful life.
