Esfahan (Mehr Park):

Mehr park was built in 2008 and it`s design is very similar to Japanese gardens. Relaxing in this park is very delightful after hiking up and down the hill to reach ATASHGAH. Esfahan (Mehr Park) http://cache.virtualtourist.com/4/4942688-Mehr_Park_Esfahan.jpg

Shiraz (Bagh-e-Eram):

Persepolis (Gates Of All Nations):

Persepolis (Gates Of All Nations) http://www.utexas.edu/courses/introtogreece/lect12/lgateofnations.jpg Like Gate R in Pasargadae, the entrance of the Gate of All Nations was protected by bulls and these mythological creatures, called lamassu's, bulls with the head of a bearded man . The general idea behind them is that they warded off evil.
