10. Head of a bull and a body of a man. 11. The minotaur was the son o f the bull of Poseidon and Pasiphae. Aphrodite made Pasiphae fall in love with the bull to punish Minos for not sacrificing it to show honor to Poseidon. After getting advice from the oracle he ordered Daedalus to construct the labyrinth. Minos would sacrifice people to the minotaur but on the third sacrifice arrived Theseus volunteered to slay the monster. Theseus killed the minotaur with the sword of Aegeus .
