Must palpate the entire diameter of the horn.

Size varies with distance from fetus.
They can be seen with ultrasound at 35-45 days.

Uterus with intramural abscesses can feel like placentomes.

Assumed it was over the brim.
Small tract with segments not present.

This cow actually had several calves.
