By Amanda Some palaces are in England, France, Italy and India. 3 Slide 4: Who lives in a palace? By Carmen Some people who live in palaces are kings, queens and celebrities like movie stars. 4 Slide 5: Why do people live in palaces? By Carmen Celebrities live in palaces because the palaces are big and open and there are beautiful gardens. If they are a king or queen they have a palace that belongs to them. 5 Slide 6: What is the difference between a palace and a castle? By Carmen Kings and queens live in palaces and castles. Castles are much stronger than palaces. It is hard for enemies to get into a castle because it has strong walls and a drawbridge and it is easier to defend. 6 Slide 7: What does it look like in a palace? By Carmen It is really pretty in palaces because there are flash carpets and curtains. They have big paintings on the walls and huge chandeliers hanging down from the selling. The mirrors were very expensive in the olden days and only kings and queens could afford them because they were rich. 7 Slide 8: What kind of rooms are there in a palace? The queen eats there with the princes and king when there are important people visiting. The queen has a little dining room . 10 Slide 11: The state room is a big flash room. The king and queen can sit on their special chairs and meet important people.
