The Hatch-Waxman Act (1984) : Law enacted to promote generics while leaving in tact a financial incentive for research and development. Durham – Humphrey Act (1951) : Classified Drugs into two categories Legend Drugs - they require prescription from recognized prescribers. Over the counter Drugs - They can be obtained without medication.
