Plot outline :
Plot outline Setting :The movie begins with a scene displaying the R.M.S. Titanic in 1912 a few minutes before departing on its Maiden Voyage. The 2200 people are seen waving goodbye for the last time, unknown to them. The endless waters of the Atlantic are seen sloshing as the title is displayed: TITANIC.
Plot :Fictional romantic tale of a rich girl and poor boy who meet on the ill-fated voyage of the 'unsinkable' ship.
Climax: Jack tells Rose the boats will be back soon and that they are just getting organized. Rose watches him and then says I love you, Jack. He tells her not to say her goodbyes, that she will get out of there, go on, make lots of babies, watch them grow, and die an old lady, warm in her bed. Not there. Rose says she cannot feel her body. Jack tells her that winning his ticket was the best thing that ever happened to him; it brought him to her, and hes thankful for that. As he takes her hand, he makes her promise that she will survive and never give up no matter how dark or hopeless things are. I promise she says, almost crying. Never let go he says, and Rose swears she will not.

Review Ronald Epstein
, TITANIC is the most elaborate disaster movie ever made. It boasts the most amazing effects that I have ever seen done to date. To see a ship fall apart, with actual people running across the ship, flying across the deck, and falling to the water, is just amazing to look at. The effects are so stunningly realistic, you would swear you were looking at actual footage.
James Berardinelli
TITANIC is a romance, an adventure, and a thriller all rolled into one. It contains moments of exuberance, humor, pathos, and tragedy. In their own way, the characters are all larger-than-life, but they're human enough (with all of the attendant frailties) to capture our sympathy. Perhaps the most amazing thing about TITANIC is that, even though Cameron carefully recreates the death of the ship in all of its terrible grandeur, the event never eclipses the protagonists. To the end, we never cease caring about Rose (Kate Winslet) and Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio).
