So what are we going to do?:

So what are we going to do? I am going to take a photograph of you that shows highlights and shadows of your face.

You will trace the contours of the highlights and shadows. We will then be transferring this to a white piece of paper.:

Next you will grid the image.:

Next you will grid the image. After that, you will be multiplying your measurements to create the larger grid and then will redraw your picture in that larger size.

Then you will fill the image with your self portrait writing in your own handwritten typography. I encourage you to use different styles of writing in different areas.:
