Problem Definition The company wanted its product to be truly self serviced. Customers should be able to do the modification themselves without writing a single line of code. Focus shifted from the backend to the frontend where the user comes in contact with the product

Slide5:

Understanding HR Processes Our process started with long and detailed discussions about: How companies use the current HR software? What are the problems that they face? How is the software technology helping them solve the issues or simplify their processes? What is left desired?

Design Process We focused on workflows to begin with. Taking the 80/20 approach into play, we prioritised scenarios in various modules and screens. We started with the toughest module first. We questioned each and every screen of the module - why is it needed, what problem is it solving, does the user need to know this- etc., to name a few.
