Upper Millcrest Park A Community Asset

As of the Spring of 2011: 

As of the Spring of 2011 WPA Bath House, in need of repairs and frequently closed Entrance path (often flooded) Abandoned Tennis Courts Access to lower Millcrest park in disrepair Play equipment is often used, but old and minimal Additional lot, unused Baseball field is home to Norwood High’s team and hosts many outside guests; Upper Millcrest is likely most seen park by visitors to Norwood Access to play equipment is not handicapped or stroller accessible

Address immediate needs Allocate CDBG funds from current cycle and order new play equipment Meet with City Manager to discuss budget for the project and the overall city capacity to provide labor and management Complete master plan with additional input from residents Begin pursuit of additional state funds and grant funds
