Adopted at 4 years old. Why, Before its 2 Late? :
As a kid I felt my calling was to going to be helping at-risk youth out just like I was. Being a young man, I feel like the younger generation will be able to listen and follow young men more then they would older folks. So I started Before its 2 Late to try and reach these youth by sharing my life, the consequences I faced, and what they can do to stay on the right path. Why, Before its 2 Late?

Based on true facts…….. Statistics In 2008, the arrest rate for robbery was 10 times greater for African American youth than for Caucasian youth 11 % (1,740) of all murder victims were juveniles, with more than a third (38%) under the age of 5 years; Juvenile arrests for aggravated assault decreased more for males than for females (22% vs. 17%) between the years 1999 and 2008 – a time period during which juvenile male arrests for simple assault dropped 6% and female arrests rose12%. African American youth were involved in 52% of juvenile Violent Crime Index arrests and 33% of juvenile Property Crime Index arrests. More then 40% of fatherless children were convicted of between the years of 2000-2008 ( Source: Charles Puzzanchera , Juvenile Arrests 2008 , OJJDP and FBI URC).
What can I do to help?:
Before its 2 Late has two ways so far in helping these youth out. One is coming into your facility, church, school, etc. and talking in person about my life, what they can do to make themselves better youth in society and what they can do to avoid todays troubles. Second option is letting me make a recorded video just for your facility, church, school, etc. and letting them watch that. If liked maybe a visit, in person, in the future would be set up. I have the two options into pushing this program because I am still currently on probation for my last arrest in 2008. I do not let this stop me from fulfilling my calling that’s why I’ve come up with two options. Also this is on my own time. Thank you! What can I do to help?
