What Animals Need to Survive:

What Animals Need to Survive

Life Requirements:

All organisms have basic needs to survive Humans, animals and plants all need air, food and shelter to live They all use food as a source of energy Life Requirements

What Do Animals Need to Survive?:

Animals need air, food, water They also need protection from predators and from the environment Animals also need to be able to reproduce and be able to adapt to their environment What Do Animals Need to Survive?

What do Plants Need to Survive?:

Much like animals plants need water and air to survive They need sunlight Also they need nutrients to be able to grow and reproduce What do Plants Need to Survive?

What do We Need to Survive:

Humans need food and water to be able to survive They also need a shelter to keep protect from the environment What do you think you need to survive? What do We Need to Survive

Life Cycles of Organisms:

Life Cycles of Organisms

Life Cycles:

Life cycles show how living organisms grow, change, and reproduce Environmental conditions such as water, temperature, and light effect the different life cycles Each life cycle is different for each animal The life cycle begins with life, then they develop into adults, reproduce, and eventually die Life Cycles

Life Cycle of Us:

Parents have a baby Baby grows into a child The child becomes an adult The adult produces a offspring of their own The life cycle repeats Life Cycle of Us

Life Cycle of Plants:

Life Cycle of Plants The plant starts off as a seed The seed beings to sprout and grows roots The stem and leaves form and it begins to flower The plant releases new seeds The cycle begins again

Life Cycle of a Frog:

Life Cycle of a Frog It first hatched from the egg as a tadpole, which does not look the the adult frog It breaths using its gills Legs grow and turns into a frog Mature frogs lay eggs The life cycle repeats itself

Life Cycle of a Butterfly:

Life Cycle of a Butterfly Starts as an egg Hatches into a caterpillar Does not look the the adult butterfly Grows and eats plant life Turns into a chrysalis Turns into a butterfly Life cycle repeats itself

Life Cycle of a Giraffe:

Life Cycle of a Giraffe Baby is born alive from the mothers body Looks like the parent Mother nurses and takes care of it Eats vegetation like the parent Grows into an adult Has offspring The life cycle begins again

Life Cycle of a Bird:

Life Cycle of a Bird Birds are born inside an egg They are kept warm and protected by their parent After they hatch they are fed by their parents Soon they learn to fly and live on their own Then they reproduce and the cycle begins again

Do All Babies and Parents Look Alike?:

Some animals are born looking differently from their parents, where as some do look alike What are some examples of babies that look similar to their parent? Giraffes, zebras, dogs, and kittens What are some examples of babies that do not look like their parent? Frogs and butterflies Do All Babies and Parents Look Alike?

What are the two different ways animals reproduce?:

Mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and insects all have their own way of reproducing life Reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, and insects all lay eggs Mammals give birth to live young What are the two different ways animals reproduce?
