Over the next few minutes we’ll show you how to easily store and use The BASS®

The BASS® can be stored on the supply carts in the OR

Slide 4: 

Unroll the BASS® after removing from plastic packaging

Slide 5: 

Flatten and place on the floor with the batting side up

Slide 6: 

Place the BASS® with the suction port side next to the OR table Suction ports are located on side of the BASS

Slide 7: 

Utilize the BASS® Pre-assembled Tubing Set to connect to suction 9 foot sections 2 foot section

The BASS® will work with standard wall suction or the Neptune Waste Management System. Wall Neptune

First, connect clear ends of 9-foot tubing to both of the BASS® suction ports

Slide 10: 

Slide suction tubing under the OR table towards the suction system

Slide 11: 

If using standard wall suction, attach blue ends of 9-foot tubing to Y-connector

Slide 12: 

And then attach blue end of 2-foot tubing to suction canister

If using the Neptune Waste Management System, attach both blue ends of 9-foot tubing to the Neptune

Discard the 2-foot tubing section and Y-connector

Activate suction at highest setting Using either wall or Neptune

When draping, position drapes so fluid drains onto the BASS®

Slide 17: 

If using a foot pedal, place in plastic bag to facilitate easier movement of pedal on the BASS®

Mayos and gurneys may be rolled near the BASS®

..or they can roll onto the BASS®

They can even be placed under the BASS®

Stools will also roll easily onto the BASS®
