Slide 3:

I am mildly curious about people who, with scripture right in front of them, feel it necessary to change what is written to something else, even when what is written is the basis for a “proof” concerning scripture. 1st Corinthians 15:3 states that “Christ died for our sins….”, but The peddler feels the need to change this to “Jesus Christ paid for… sins” Are we not supposed to notice this? Or Are we not supposed to care?

Slide 4:

It goes without saying the peddler wants us to observe that we “are saved” in 1st Corinthians 15:2 above quoted, while he refuses to observe the whole point of the verse which follows: the caveat, “if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you”; because if you DO NOT” keep” it, you “have believed in vain.” Which, by itself, disproves OSAS, and wrecks the peddler’s entire argument, But the peddler is oblivious to it. The peddler states “You gotta believe this to get saved.” Speaking for myself, I believe every word of 1st Corinthians, and I wish the peddler believed every word of it.

Slide 9:

If the peddler would actually get his doctrine “according to the scriptures”, he wouldn’t have to ask these foolish questions that he believes are so profound and important to his sophistries: his questions are answered by one verse. 1st John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” The word, “cleanseth” is ongoing, and The words “all sin”, should be self-explanatory. Slide 12:

Thankfully, the peddler ends up right where 1st John 1:7 would have taken him to begin with. The peddler makes the dogmatic statement that, “…NO ONE CAN LIVE SINLESS…” Which he does not support with scripture, Which he cannot support with scripture Which, if you were to believe the peddler, casts the Lord in somewhat of a bad light, who said: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” -Matthew 5:48

Screens #12 and 13

Slide 16:

This is where the peddler assembles his invented and false propositions (that were never shown to be true, let alone “proven” true), and then Prepares the hearer for a false conclusion Based on illogical argument Drawn from erroneous “facts”.

Slide 17:

27. For example, contrary to the peddler’s assertion on this screen: I reject OSAS, but I do not believe Jesus Christ only died for “past and present sins.”

Slide 18:

His doctrine about sins being “unpunished” is entirely unscriptural, and intended to throw you off track. Talking about “past and present sins” vs. “future sins” is designed to make you forget what all this is about. Forgiveness of sins (ALL SINS: past, present, future) takes place ONLY because you are IN Jesus Christ; When you FALLAWAY from Jesus Christ, you are not committing another “future sin”, you are NOT IN CHRIST, and You no longer will have ANY of your sins forgiven (past , present, future) and It is IMPOSSIBLE to restore you to your former position in Christ.

Slide 19:

Heb 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Slide 20:

31. This is the simple truth that peddlers cannot and will not see. The peddler is trying to prove something that is irrelevant to the issue, which is NOT “do you believe the Lord can forgive future sin?” but Will the Lord forgive ANY of your sins if you “fall away” from him? And Is it possible to fall away from him? The answers to which questions are, respectively, “Definitely No!” and “Definitely Yes!”, because the bible says so.

Slide 23:

32. Many points to be made in response to this screen… NOBODY NOT subscribing to “OSAS theology” thinks what is being claimed here. The peddler is continuing in his course which has nothing to do with the issue. He falsely ASSUMES that because the promise is given: “if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins…” 1st John 1:9 That if we fail to remember a sin to confess it, THAT IT WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN!

Slide 24:

This assumption is not only not true, but it doesn’t follow any rules of logic. For example, suppose I say: “If we throw a rock at a bird in a tree, he will fly away, THEREFORE: “If we do not throw a rock at a bird in a tree, he will NEVER fly away. The first part maybe a true statement, but the second part is not a logical conclusion. The Lord can forgive any sins he wants to forgive. He has the power to forgive all sins. Mat 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

Slide 25:

He has the power to forgive your sins whether you remembered and confessed every single sin or not. This doctrine is taken straight from Catholicism. Nobody is suggesting that “sin can enter Heaven” This is not the issue This is a misuse of terminology

Slide 28:

(it IS simple). From here on the peddler says nothing he hasn’t already said, He restates his “beliefs” He repeats former unfounded statements several more times, and Never refers to a single verse of scripture. May the Lord open his eyes.
