General : 

General Ignoring organizational issues, which can be for a number of different reasons, including: expected outcome vs stakeholder politics, identification of the real sponsor, obtaining buy-in from the right departments or people. Failing to plan anything at all! (no formal Project Management Plan) Not defining the project scope and success criteria, including milestones and performance indicators

Conflicting Objectives : 

Conflicting Objectives primary reasons for a project failure. could be between the team members, the team and the management, between the management and the customer. Beginning disagreement: affect quality of results, waste time, arose conflicts that leads to low motivation. Cure: take all on board. make comprehensive objectives,. Unclear objectives: can end in disaster leave project unfinished or unaccepted. Cure: make things clear, review to confirm, involve all, communicate everything to everyone and do it clear.

Lack of Co-operation : 

Lack of Co-operation could be between the team members, the team and the management, between the management and the customer. No full efforts, no help or even not letting others. Reasons: lack of professional interaction, Resistance to change(fear), not benefiting or being harmed. Low motivation(impersonality effects), work load on members Cure: motivate psychologically, offer benefits, emphasize importance.

Inexperienced Project Management : 

Inexperienced Project Management When not “used to” or less knowledge. (Technical , personal, human, administrative, business) Cure: select best people ,outsource project, train people.

Poor Motivation : 

Poor Motivation Motivation can move mountains. No motivation no movement. Reasons: bad communication, unclear things, impersonal view, no benefits, some human and psychological factors. Cure: offer benefits, involve emotions, encourage competition, solve human problems.

Lack of user involvement : 

Lack of user involvement No likeness , no goodness. Timely update of project is must, project value is in acceptance. Feedback makes you adjust to change, Huge involvement can get you off track.

Priority of goals : 

Priority of goals Team working on Personal Goal Reasons: psychological factors(greed), low motivation ,low personal involvement, unsatisfied personal needs. Cures: Emphasize on projects importance, give support to personal goals as well. There should be team spirit, and all should work for collective goal.

Budget Overrun : 

Budget Overrun Spent what you can , have what you can afford. Reasons: Scope creep(new features),poor planning(inflation adjustment), budget cut (no contingency plan) Cure: plan everything and do it good, establish change management sys , make contingency plan

Frequent change in User Requirements : 

Frequent change in User Requirements Change in change leads to no existence. Reasons: Not involved from beginning, he is not sure, inexperienced. Cure: make template , help him determine req, don’t start until requirements are cleared, established management sys, convince him for no change
