By Wednesday evening  Module #7 Group Discussion Prompt. It is clear that this course emphasizes academic form and two aspects of academic form are attributing (citing) sources and creating a bibliography. Why is so much emphasis put on academic citing and referencing? How are you going to organize the objective annotations you are developing as you read? Do any of the suggestions in the Module #7 notes--regarding note cards--seem a reasonable process to keep annotations in order? By Saturday afternoon Module #7 ASSIGNMENTS –TWO BLOG ENTRIES  Research Step #5 – Research Proposal Synthesize one Body Paragraph (BP ) around a single theme based on two sources you have found. As you did with the Objective Synthesis paper, you must find similar themes and ideas discussed in two or more secondary sources. NO GROUP WIKI WORK Have you completed?  Research Step #4 – Annotated Bibliography Cover page Three to five articles – References entry and annotation Brief summary of the source & How the source will be used in the paper. Use the two articles you found for this Module and add one or two more. Module #7 Assignments 

Finishing up the OS work – Email me  After going over my notes for your OS paper please briefly discuss the following: What areas of research writing do you need to work on? Will you be using a Writing Center tutor this semester to help you with your paper?

Reading for your Research paper project  Find at least five good sized articles. Save the digital file and print it out. Read the article and write-out annotations – objective and subjective – several readings Transfer annotations to notes – digital or cards
