Issue with Engine Over speed Condition: Fixing Error code P0219 of a car What the P0219 code means The P0219 code means that the revolutions per minute of the engine’s crankshaft measured by the tachometer has exceeded a predetermined limit set by the vehicle’s manufacturer.Most vehicles that have a tachometer will have a red line mark towards the top of the gauge to indicate that the engine speed has become excessive. When the needle on the tachometer enters the red zone is when the P0219 code may be set in the vehicle’s powertrain control module.
