What is the Texas STaR Chart? : 

What is the Texas STaR Chart? Texas has created the STaR (School Technology and Readiness) Chart, which is a self-assessment used by campuses and districts. It is aligned with the Long-Range Plan for Technology and is used for planning, budgeting, and evaluating technology progress.

Levels of Progress The Texas STaR Chart has 4 levels of progress. They are divided into Early Tech, Developing Tech, Advanced Tech, and Target Tech. Target Tech is the level we want to be on in order to meet the needs of the Long-Range Plan for Technology and No Child Left Behind.
