How to edit a picture with new image editing features in PowerPoint 2010?

PowerPoint Presentation: 

Insert and select the image, Picture Tools section appears in the Ribbon displaying Format tab. Click on Format tab to access the latest picture editing tools in PowerPoint 2010.

PowerPoint Presentation: 

To highlight subject in the image or to remove distracting details, click Remove Background button. You can use marks to indicate areas which you want to keep or remove from the image object.

PowerPoint Presentation: 

Click Corrections command and a dropdown menu will appear where you can improve the brightness, contrast, sharpness of the picture. For advanced settings, click Picture Correction Options under Corrections command.

PowerPoint Presentation: 

Adjust the color in an image to match the document content or improve quality click Color command. Color Saturation : Controls how vivid the colors are in the image. Color Tone : Controls the "temperature" of the color i.e. how bright can a color be in the image. Recolor : Controls the overall color of the image. Use this option to make the image black and white, grayscale, or to colorize it with a different color. You can even opt for more variations. Also, set color in the selected picture transparent. To refine the color of your picture further, click Picture Color Options .

PowerPoint Presentation: 

Apply artistic effects with Artistic Effects command to the graphics to make it look like a sketch or a painting. For advanced options, click Artistic Effects Options .
