Screen clipping, similar to screenshot, is a digital image of any portion of a computer screen. It’s a new feature introduced in PowerPoint 2010. A screen clipping is useful when you want to emphasize on a part of your screen and do not want to display image of the whole computer screen. You can access this feature from PowerPoint 2010’s Insert tab in the ribbon. What is PowerPoint 2010 screen clipping?

Move the cursor to cut and add the portion of the screen you wish to add in your slide as a screen clipping. The selected area will become clear and the image easily visible.
