You can use audio narration to archive a meeting, so that the absentees or presenters can later follow-up the presentation.

PowerPoint Presentation:
Go to the Slide Show tab, look for Set Up group, click Record Slide Show
PowerPoint Presentation:
You can select either of the following options: Start Recording from Beginning Start Recording from Current Slide
PowerPoint Presentation:
The Record Slide Show dialog box pops-up, where you can select or deselect Narrations and laser pointer check box or Slide and animation timings check box Click Start Recording button
PowerPoint Presentation:
To pause the narration, in the Recording shortcut menu, click Pause and to resume your narration, click Resume Recording . The Recording starts
PowerPoint Presentation:
If you want to end the recording, right click the slide and then click End Show
PowerPoint Presentation:
The timings of the recorded slide show are automatically saved and the slide show appears in Slide Sorter view with timings beneath each slide
