PowerPoint Presentation:
Click on the Insert tab, go to Illustrations group and then click SmartArt graphic.

The SmartArt window appears from where you can select timeline layouts from the tab Process . Double-click the timeline layout you select, depending on the content you have and want to display.

Click the control arrows you can see at the left side of the box in the text pane to type the text. Alternatively, select an entry in the timeline to type your text.

Click Design tab, go to Create Graphic group and then click Add Shape. Either select Add Shape Before or Add Shape After to add more entries before and after the selected entry.
