What is a PowerPoint 2007 template? A PowerPoint 2007 template refers to a blueprint of a slide or all the slides of a presentation. The templates contain layouts, fonts, effects and colors based on a theme. It also contains background styles or content. Create your templates and save them for later use. Create and use customized themes in your slideshows for effective presentation of your content.

Slide 3: 

Click on New Slide drop-down list on the Home tab. Select Reuse Slides , the task pane appears to the right side.

Slide 4: 

Go to Insert slides from option, click browse drop-down list and choose Browse File option.

Slide 5: 

A window appears on the screen with the templates. Select the template you want to use and then click Open . The Reuse Slides task pane displays all the slides from the selected presentation.

Slide 6: 

Check the Keep Source Formatting at the bottom of the task pane to keep intact formatting.

Slide 7: 

Right-click a slide in the task pane and click Insert All Slides option. All slides from the other presentation appear in your current presentation with intact formatting.

Slide 8: 

Click on the View tab so that the previous slides take on the formatting of the a new Slide Master. Open the Slide Master button, scroll to the first slide and choose Delete Master . All the slides take on the formatting of the new Slide Master.

Slide 9: 

Click the Close Master View button in the View tab to see the final output.
