A motion path refers to a route that an object follows around a slide. It’s usually a line that an element follows across a PowerPoint slide. You can use any type of motion path such as circle, diamond, football or create a meandering line of your own. The PowerPoint offers around 65 different such effects. You can customize your presentation with an advanced technique.Slide 3: Steps to draw a custom motion path in presentationSlide 4: Select Animation tab in the top menu that displays various options for adding animated effects to the objects. Click on the object on the slide that disables Add Animation drop-down button.Slide 5: Click on the Add Animation drop-down menu and a list of various effects opens. Select More Motion Paths option.Slide 6: A pop-up window of More Motion Paths appears where you can select different effects for objects on the slide.Slide 7: Once an effect is selected for an object it gets displayed on the slide and you can draw the motion path as desirable. The green arrow shows where the motion begins and the red arrow shows where it ends.Slide 8: Place the mouse pointer next to the object and draw a line on the slide where you would like the object to follow.Slide 9: After drawing the motion path to the slide, you can modify the speed or whether the animation is applied on click or automatically.
