What are rehearse timings? The "Rehearse Timings" is an option in the PowerPoint that enables you to rehearse the time it takes to go through complete presentation. Instead of having to click every time to change slides or move on to next pictures, PowerPoint will do automatically and run through with the timings you set. You can set the time for all the slides manually or automatically.

Slide 4:

Click on transition tab in the top menu. Go to Advance Slide section. Set the timings in After option for each slide with the help of numeric stepper or by inserting time manually. Uncheck On Mouse Click option and check After option.

Slide 5:

Click on Apply To All option to set the rehearse timings for all the slides in the PowerPoint.

Slide 7:

Go to Slide Show tab in the top menu, click Rehearse Timings button. Your slide show opens in rehearsal mode and the slide timing starts.

Slide 8:

In the corner, you will see Rehearse dialog box where while setting timings you can pause between the slides, restart a slide or advance to the next slide.

Slide 9:

If you want to stop rehearsing timings, click pause option to stop the clock. click next option when you're ready to move to the next slide. If you want to repeat the timings of slides and not satisfied with the present one, click repeat option to start the clock over at 0:00:00. 1. Advance to next slide. 2. Pause timings. 3. Slide timing (editable). 4. Repeat. 5. Total time for presentation.

Slide 10:

After you have set the time for all slides, a message box pops-up displaying the total time for the slide show and asking if you want to keep these timings for your slide show. Click Yes option.
