First step is to access Developer tab into PowerPoint which is present on the Ribbon tab. Alternatively, you can add it simply by clicking on Office button and select PowerPoint options button.

PowerPoint Options window opens, click Popular category. Check the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon checkbox and then select Ok .

You will find the Developer tab appearing in the PowerPoint Ribbon. Note: This tab may not appear exactly in the same location on your Ribbon as it’s shown in this screenshot. The location of this tab depends on how you have customized your own PowerPoint Ribbon.

Navigate to the slide where you wish to insert the video. Go to Developer tab and select More Controls button.

More Controls window opens up displaying a list of controls for you to add to your presentation. Select Shockwave Flash Object option. Then click Ok to continue.

You will find the video inserted to the slide as shown in the screenshot and you can adjust its size according to your requirements.
