A PowerPoint photo album is a presentation that you can create to display your personal or business photographs. You can add various effects to the slides and make the presentation attention-grabbing. The colorful themes and backgrounds make your presentations more brilliant and bright. Add transitions effects to images to make them lively. There is an arrangement of elements to choose such as title and subtitle text, lists, pictures, tables, charts, AutoShapes, and movies, on a slide. To customize your album further, you can also insert captions, adjust the order and layout, add frames around the pictures, and even apply more themes.

Creating a Photo album in a few simple steps

Step: 1:

Step: 1 Go to the ‘Insert’ tab, click on the ‘Photo Album’ dropdown list and then select ‘New Photo Album’ option.

Step: 2 Click on ‘File/Disc button’ for images with which you want to create your album. Select pictures you want to include in the album from folders on your hard disk and click on ‘Insert’ tab.

Step: 3 The list of images appear in the ‘Pictures in Album’. Click on any image to view it in the ‘Preview’ window. Use ‘Move Up’ and ‘Move Down’ button to adjust the order of the images. Rotate images, adjust their colors and brightness, respectively, with these six buttons. ‘Remove’ button deletes any picture in the list which you may find it unnecessary.

Step: 4 Go to ‘ Album Layout ’ section, click on ‘ Picture Layout ’ dropdown list to choose any layout format. Select ‘ Frame Shape ’ dropdown list to select a desirable frame you want to add to your pictures. You can also browse theme for your slides from the ‘ Theme ’ dropdown list.

Step: 5 Click on ‘Create’ button to enter the images along with the theme and other selected changes into your slides.

Step: 6 Once your photo album is created, you can make changes on Slide 1 , by selecting the words Photo Album , and then type the title you want for your album. You can also change the username as well.

Step: 7:

Step: 7 To edit the newly created album, again go to the ‘Insert’ tab, click on ‘Photo Album’ dropdown and select ‘Edit Photo Album’ option. A window opens where you can edit the entire album.

Slide 11:

Step: 8 Select the ‘Captions below ALL pictures’ check box to add captions to images. Also, you can check on ‘ALL pictures black and white’ checkbox and then click ‘Update’ button to save the changes. Once ‘Edit Photo Album’ window opens , go to ‘Picture Options’ section for editing images.
