Are you loving taking piano or keyboard lessons, and look forward to your slot every week with your teacher. This is great news if you have built up a friendly relationship with your tutor, and you have a good connection and relationship with regards to your music. Many keyboard or piano players who find an excellent teacher; in which there are many around the world, will go on to be tutored for many years even once they reach a level where they can self teach because they look forward to that one on one lesson every week. This is because you form a special friendship with your teacher and because you have things in common and can relate to one another if you were to fly the nest and be independent the spark of playing might not be so strong. Please see below five things to consider that your teacher won’t let you know as a beginner: - There is a huge social connection with playing a musical instrument, and it can open up many avenues for you to explore with the opportunity of meeting new people. The great thing about this is you will have lots in common and very often get on like a house on fire! It can build your confidence and self esteem. Many people who start playing the piano or keyboard can be shy about performing even in front of their teacher. This is because it is something new and it takes lots of courage to get onto the stage for the first time. Once you achieve this you will be reaching for the stars, and it will give you the confidence to go on and perform more and more. 3. You can have a successful career from playing music, and if it’s something you are passionate about then how amazing would it be to do a job you love full time, from something you started out as just a hobby. 5 Things That You May Not Have Considered When Learning Piano or Keyboard

PowerPoint Presentation:

You can do exams in keyboard and piano, but this isn’t always necessary. If you have a natural talent for music, then exam or no exam you will still be a brilliant musician. By auditioning for a band or a job if you can prove your talent then this will be enough. If you wanted to be a teacher then it is advisable to have your exams but it isn’t necessary. Some old fashioned tutors will try to push you into taking exams but sometimes this can take the enjoyment out of something you love. 5. Don’t take the fun out of playing. If you are stuck on a piece of music that your tutor has set you and it really isn’t your style, then make a stand and say you would like to change your song and that you are not happy with it. A good teacher should be able to pick up on this tension, and make sure you discuss your next song and that it is one you will enjoy and can see yourself playing in years to come. It can take many years of practice to reach the standard to be able play your own one hour song repertoire on piano or keyboard. But what if there was a simple method that could show any beginner how to do it in just 12 days? Find out how it’s done... Easy Keyboard Lessons
