THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH :

THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH Research is composed of two syllables, a prefix re and a verb search. Re means again, anew, over again. Search means to examine closely and carefully, to test and try, to probe. The two words form a noun to describe a careful and systematic study in some field of knowledge, undertaken to establish facts or principles (Grinnell, 1997). All aspects of research are highly integrated and well established so as to produce a very beneficial effect on the society. Among different objectives of research are: to fulfill course requirements, to understand reports and journals, to recognize false use of research, as a guide in decision making, and a big source of knowledge creation. Research is used commonly in the science subjects though it has become itself a science. At present, research is an integral part of bio-, social, physical, psychological fields. It is also an important element in developing newer teaching and training methodologies. Being a citizen of and a student in a developing or third world country, yes….it is true that there is no hope of perfect research. When we cogitate over the research related activities in the developed countries, even there we can see that the research is not being conducted in its real sense; or following all the rules and regulations of a perfect research.

THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH :

THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH Actually, the main focus in all these countries is not to do perfect research but a near perfect approach. I can safely write about the medical research in developed countries. There too, are many issues to be questioned…..! Ethical aspects, geographical, ethnic, randomization, patient sampling, use (trial) of experimental medicines, socio-economic diversifications, financial resources for the research (often funded by pharmaceutical companies), all lead to a more or less biased research. The above mentioned situations prevail in all the countries-developing and developed. The condition seems to be more drastic when we study the research pattern in the past, where the human beings were used in place of experimental animals. So, today, the condition is quite good. A very comprehensive informed consent form is used for the inclusion of patients in any clinical trial.

THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH :

THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH Now, with the advent of modern sophisticated instruments and machines, more advanced research methodologies, provision of huge information on minor topics, and what is more a good will, we should safely expect a perfect research in any field, but, this is not the case. When we compare the ratio of what has been allocated for research and what for other fields, we come to know the conclusion which is not so pleasant. Simply, by comparing the funds allocated for inventing weapons of destruction and in the name of defense, it becomes clear to convince us the priorities of the government policies.

THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH :

THERE IS NO HOPE OF PERFECT RESEARCH Especially, in my country, where there is a very big problem of peace, terrorism, law and order, low literacy rate, high birth rate, allocation of only a small fraction of budget on health and education, the situation is the worst. The actual theme of all the themes is the set of priorities. When we will re-prioritize our goals and steps to achieve them, we shall be able to see that still; THERE IS A HOPE OF NEAR PERFECT RESEARCH.
