The need for volunteers continues to grow. YOU ARE ONE OF OUR VALUED VOLUNTEERS! Continued CommunicationAdministrative Items: The following are guidelines to protect students AND our valued volunteers Administrative ItemsHOW APIE WORKS WITH YOU: HOW APIE WORKS WITH YOU APIE trains and supports volunteers Please avail yourself of our training, resources and support Specific coordinator for your program to support you In the schools and in the APIE offices APIE salutes and appreciates your work Come celebrate at our end of year Volunteer Appreciation APIE has insurance coverage volunteers Your responsibilities to be sure you are properly covered You must be approved and on the current year’s list of registered volunteers Register for each opportunity and for each year This coverage is void if the volunteer is intoxicated or under the influence of any drugs If you are using any prescription drugs that may impair your judgment or your ability to volunteer safely, please notify the coordinator and arrange for a substituteVOLUNTEERING : VOLUNTEERING Consider volunteering to have the guidelines that you would have at a place of business.
