Premium member Presentation Transcript Are you ready to get Flipped in the Philippines?: Are you ready to get Flipped in the Philippines?Slide 2: We think you are ready…Slide 3: We know YOU are ready…Slide 4: On the tricycle ride through Tagbilaran City it will really hit home that you have arrived in another country. Hear the tricycles pump out some sweet beats and people laughing in the streets as we make our way to Panglao Island… Enter tricycle!! Day One – Arrive Tagbilaran CitySlide 5: Day One – Stop One We head towards the delightful Bohol Bee Farm to kick off our adventure. BBF was started by a Filipino lady with serious creative flair. The food, most of the ingredients grown onsite, is spectacular. Lunch provides a good opportunity to get to know everyone.Slide 6: Arriving in the afternoon we watch the sun set on our first day from Alona Beach. We stay in a Filipino owned Nipa hut resort, one minute walk from this beach Watch the sunset on our first daySlide 7: Flip what a stunning day!Slide 8: We spend the morning snorkelling and diving at this little gem Day Two – Balicasag - DoljoSlide 9: We lunch it at Puntod Island and spend a couple of hours relaxing Relaxing here is not hardSlide 10: Not a bad spot for our first homestay ? We proceed to Doljo where you meet your host family..Slide 11: Flip what a stunning day!Slide 12: Feel free to go your own way, perhaps take a motorbike trip around Panglao Island – we can arrange bike hire and if needed a guide/driver Spend the day around Doljo beach with Jonas and your homestay crew. If you talk to Jonas nicely he may take you fishing or you can help out with their mangrove planting project Day ThreeSlide 13: Watch the sunset on Day ThreeSlide 14: Flip what a stunning day!Slide 15: Ocean Hills We drag ourselves away from our homestay at Doljo beach and journey by minicab for some sightseeing around Bohol. In the morning we hit the chocolate hills, and check out the famous Bohol Tarsiers. There are a few surprises this day but you’ll just have to wait and see about that! Day Four – Chocolate HillsSlide 16: Top Bottom! Kawasan Falls We journey up the Abatan River by kayak to our afternoon swimming hole at Kawasan Falls. Not Bad!Slide 17: Our second homestay is quite different to our first nestled amongst rice paddies, coconut trees and banana plants. We stay in the Barangay Hall HERE… Homestay Part IISlide 18: Words cannot describe a fresh coconut straight from the tree.. Friendly Barangay CaptainSlide 19: No seriously, straight from the tree……Slide 20: Flip what a stunning day!Slide 21: Day Five – Bohol – Malapascua Day Five is a bit of a travel day but we start and end the trip with a peaceful boat ride. A ferry takes us from Bohol to Cebu, then we travel by van through sugar cane country to the northern tip of Cebu. Once here, the peaceful Malapascua Island awaits! We hop on a Banca boat and 20 minutes later arrive in paradise for a relaxing couple of days!Slide 22: “We hop on a Banca Boat and 20 minutes later arrive in Paradise” Here we stay in a comfortable Filipino owned resort right on the beachSlide 23: Time for a few cocktails while we.. Watch the sunset on Day FiveSlide 24: Flip what a stunning day!Slide 25: Malapascua is all about having some relax time, and this white beach sure isn’t a bad place to relax! Day Six– Malapascua We stay here( ish )!!Slide 26: If you’re not into relaxing then you can take the early morning boat to see the Thresher shark! Da na , da na , da na , da na , da na !!Slide 27: Otherwise perhaps a hammock and a book will suffice!!Slide 28: Watch the sunset on Day SixSlide 29: Flip what a stunning day!Slide 30: Day Seven– Bantayan island We take a Banca boat from Malapascua to nearby Bantayan Island.. Don’t worry it’s a bit bigger than this one!!Slide 31: We stay with another fantastic community in Bantayan Island Homestay Part IIISlide 32: Homestay is pretty near HERE!Slide 33: You can tour around on these.. Or if you like life in the slow lane this..Slide 34: Flip what a stunning day!Slide 35: Go wherever the wind may take you!!! As much as we want to show you more photos some things have to be a surprise so we have limited photos for the rest of the slides!! Day Eight – Bantayan islandSlide 36: We catch a banca boat from Bantayan to Negros and spend the night in Bacolod city where you can hit the shops and then take charge of the karaoke microphone! Day Nine– Bantayan - NegrosSlide 37: Day Ten – Negros - Panay From Bacolod we take a ferry to IloIlo and then a 2 hour trip up along the coast to Antique. Here we stay with the Gawad Kalinga community in Antique and learn more about the projects they do around the country. If you like to cook why not have a lesson with your host family?Slide 38: Day Eleven – Panay - Boracay From Antique sadly we’re on the home straight. We head by van to Caticlan (3 hours) then it’s just a 15 minute boat ride going to Boracay .
