What really defines how a culture gains its beliefs? How does it choose what the social norms are going to be? Could religion be the most important concept in each society? Does religion decide how a person acts toward others and how they live their lives? Questions to Ask

Christianity Influenced Foundations Now has separation from church and state 1/3 of 7.024 billion people are Christians Jesus Christ – Founder Disciples were male, many women followers During a time of Judaism, women were inferior

Christianity:

Islam : 

Muhammad – founder in 570 CE Spread because of jihad – opposing people were unable to compete Beliefs common with Christianity Islam

Islam : 

Iran during war Iran-Iraq war 1908-1998 Artists were using women as motivators Women are makers of soldiers Islam

Hinduism:
