MENTORSHIP PROGRAM:

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM Immerse yourself in a horsemanship experience that you will never forget and feel the inspiration from your horse that will have amazing results. This mentorship program is designed to take you and your horses’ connection to accelerated levels of performance and achieve the level of connection you desire! You will learn how to powerfully grow and use the principles of Equineship to enable to develop toward your personal horsemanship goals.

STUDENT ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM:

STUDENT ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM The McKendrick Ranch welcomes you to experience an opportunity to study the horse through the holistic approach of applied knowledge with Alicia McKendrick Equineship Connection program. A weekly private two hour lesson with Alicia, sharing ideas to help you advance and develop your horse skills. A theory/practice lesson per week covering, but not limited to, saddle knowledge, behaviour types, communication skills, bandaging, natural care and balanced barefoot trimming. Meetings to focus on striving towards goals to achieve. This is ideally a minimum 2 month program but length can be shortened or lengthened.

HORSE STARTING UNDER SADDLE:

HORSE STARTING UNDER SADDLE Making sure a good horse has a good start is very important. Using gentle Equineship training techniques to start provides a solid, positive foundation for your horse to have a happy time with you and their future. This is about creating a willing and confident partner so you can enjoy your amazing creature and be set up for success! Foundation Horse Training Program This program is based with Alicia taking your horse into her private training program to establish a well developed relationship. Then, through workshops, you will participate in the wonderful journey with your horse in connection! Program durations: 30 days 60 days 90 days 4 months

MCKENDRICK EQUINESHIP RANCH On 480 acres of beautiful rolling hills, meadows and forest, the McKendrick Ranch is a oasis for horse lovers located close to Alix, Alberta. Enjoy our facilities including: I ndoor arena with heat, soft mixed footing and clay base keeps dust free with natural additives Outdoor arena with a view across the country and evening lighting to enjoy moonlight riding Round pen with mixed shaving footings Horse Play Field with many obstacles such as varying sizes of cross country jumps, trail obstacles with bridges and gates, ramps and poles, etc 12 wooden indoor box stalls Rail paddocks and turnout pens with shelters and automatic waters And of course, perfect nature trails over the land

ABOUT ALICIA Alicia McKendrick is a passionate and dedicated horse lover who grew up at the McKendrick Ranch surrounded by horses. She has competed in many disciplines to experience the joy of dancing with horses. Alicia became interested in advancing her skills through natural horse training methods, but felt there was still something missing.  In 2007 she realized the significance of the special union she was creating with her own horses, which led to the development of a unique program designed to develop partnership with equine through holistic connections. Now, as instructor and trainer of Equineship Connection, she explores the importance of awareness of connection, an engaged mind and a balanced body for both horse and rider. Through courses, lessons, training and advancement programs, Alicia shares her passion with you to find and enhance your connection with horses.
