The Muscular System:

The Muscular System

Information:

Information The human body is made up of over 650 muscles. The muscular system is made up of two main parts that provide movement for the body. These two parts are called involuntary and voluntary. Involuntary is when it just happens like how the heart is consistently working even when we are sleeping. Voluntary is when you cause and control the movement.

Cells: The Hamstring:

Cells: The Hamstring Organ: The hamstrings are muscles that are crossed and help control the knee and the hip. The semitendinosus and the semimembranosus are used to help flex the knee and extend the hip, allowing the leg full range of motion. The muscle cells consist of myofibrils that are sheeted by endomysium. There are tendons that surround the knee cap to help with the movement and protect the knee cap from shattering.

Layer and Tissue:

Layer and Tissue The Fascia is a connective tissue that surrounds the blood vessels, muscles, and nerves, connecting them all together. The Fascia is a layer of fibrous tissue. This permeates the human body. There are ligaments that help the fibrous tissue connect with other bones. The ligaments keep the bones together and are a key component in the hamstring.
