CAPSLS Through the CAPSLS I learned how important professional growth really is. It is important not only to me but also to many others. Promoting education is an important part of what I do. Now I see that as an administrator I can promote education on a broader scale. I have always been an advocate for my students, and now I will advocate for them as well as for the educators that are in my charge. Through furthering my own education I have learned that I am passionate about education and leadership. I have gained insight into myself as well as how I will conduct my self as a leader. :

CASPLS I learned that I enjoy a challenge and love diversity and different cultures. I have great respect for the differences and the ideals that others hold dear. I know that I want to lead in the same manner that I teach… With compassion Morals Kindness Understanding Strength With God at the helm. :

LCAS Helping others is my strength, I am positive and guiding when I can be. I always want to be a positive force in helping others develop there strengths. I like to be there for others,so that they know they can depend on and call on me. I now know where my strengths are. I am definitely a people person. I can see that I am making improvements in areas that are not my strengths. There is always room for improvement and now I have learned where and how to do so. :

Before this program I would have seen some of these strengths as weaknesses. Now I can see that they give me balance and humanity. I have learned to embrace who I am and change the things that need improvement. As a lifetime learner I can now adapt where I need to and except who I am and want to yet become. :

My Growth Plan Having a growth plan is always a good idea. I have come a long way through this program and now I can actually implement my plan to grow. My plan includes embracing the things that I am, improving on the things that I am not and getting the experience that I need to take a Principal ship. I am going to embrace change and be my very best at Leadership. :

Strengths 586 A Strength based practices use my personal strengths to empower me in growth. I can use what I have as strengths to lead and to encourage others. I use a strength based model to create a positive, harmonious atmosphere. I can lay the proper foundations for success in those that I encounter with my strengths. I do not like to lead though the deficit model, because it is about what is and what isn’t and how to fix it. I like to lead from what is right and how we can expand on that. :

The Includer helps me with staff to involve them so that they realize that we a re a team. Being Empathetic is always a quality that make people realize that you care. This will never steer you wrong. I have come to value these areas of strength and go with what I have as strengths. I am learning where my weakness lie and am striving to enhance these areas. I can now grow because I know my strengths and weaknesses. :

Strengths 586 C I was raised in a family of 11 children. This helped me to learn team work. I also learned how to deal with different types of personalities. This was helpful in crating my trait as a communicator. This is a skill that is helpful in education. Learning a good work ethic was part of my childhood. I realize that my parents taught up these things because it would help me as an adult. Continuing to grow is important to me. My work ethic has helped me to become the developer. As I approach new chapters of my life I know I will learn new and exciting things. I call on God to assist me in my strengths and take me where I am best used. I came to education by asking God to take me where I needed to be. I ended up here and that is a wonderful place to be! Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” :
