Introduction :Introduction Clark Middle School strives to provide every student with a premier education prepare every student to function successfully develop competencies in using and applying a range of technologies promote lifelong learning


School Description and Demographics :School Description and Demographics Clark Middle School is Title 1 school in an urban setting 70% Hispanic 20% African American 10% Asian, Multi-racial, White serves 900 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students employs 100 faculty/staff members 80 certified staff members 20 non-certified staff members

Vision Statement :Vision Statement The vision of Clark Middle School is to aid its students in becoming skilled, knowledgeable, independent, self-directed and motivated learners who are comfortable with and proficient in using technology in all its forms as information resources. Through the use of technology, with its varied aspects and applications, each student at Clark Middle School will be afforded opportunities and challenges that will allow them to successfully perform in the future.

Hardware, Software, and Facility Resource Requirements :Hardware, Software, and Facility Resource Requirements Technology Hardware Needs purchase 72 additional desk-top so students have access to 4 student computers inside the classrooms. purchase six “rolling computer labs” (30 wireless laptops and 12 rolling carts) so that each grade level has 2 labs purchase 13 Promethean Boards for every Mathematics and Science classroom purchase one additional set of ActivExpressions for grade level

Evaluation Plan and Timeline :Evaluation Plan and Timeline Clark Middle School will conduct annual evaluations in the form of focus walks, surveys, and informal and formal classroom observations. The annual technology evaluation plan will answer the following questions: Have the actions implemented made a positive difference in teaching and learning? Is more professional development needed? Are we meeting or exceeding the Georgia Performance Standards using technology integration? How can the implementation improve? What are the evidences of success? Have teachers benefited from the changes? Is the implementation cost effective? What are the next steps?
