ACCESSING THE ONLINE BOOKFOR WORLD HISTORY :ACCESSING THE ONLINE BOOKFOR WORLD HISTORY


Slide 2:After you have double clicked and opened up your web browser, go to the McDougal Littell’s account activation website at http://activate.classzone.com This web address should forward you to http://www.classzone.com/cz/validate.htm and this below:


Slide 3:Enter this activation code 2404068 – 120 in the boxes provided and click CONTINUE


Slide 4:You will enter the area to sign in. Since you have not created an account yet, click on the blue Create a Student Account link


Slide 5:Enter your birthday and click continue


Slide 6:Enter your first name and last name in the appropriate boxes. Create a user name and password. I would suggest using your school ID as your user name and password.


Slide 7:Choose a Secret Question and your answer to be used to identify yourself if you forget your password. Check the small box (feel free to read the terms and conditions) then click the Create Account button.


Slide 8:You should see a Registration Complete page reminding you of your User Name and Security Question. Click Continue.


Slide 9:You should be taken to a page Showing your Success! Click on the Go to Classzone.


Slide 10:Here, you will need to click on the High School Social Studies Circle. Select Michigan Click on GO.


Slide 11:Click on the image of our textbook World History


Slide 12:At the Classzone.com – World History page, scroll down and click on the Online Book link.


Slide 13:A new page opens up with a digital version of your text. You can look at the pages and chapters using the Contents tool bar. Take some time and investigate the book and the Tools you can use with the book.


Slide 14:Now you may visit www.classzone.com at home and the McDougall Littell website will save “your” book for you.
