Learning Domains or Bloom's Taxonomy :

Learning Domains or Bloom's Taxonomy Cognitive (knowledge) Knowledge and the development of intellectual skills. This includes the recall or recognition of specific facts, procedural patterns, and concepts that serve in the development of intellectual abilities and skills. There are six major categories 2. Affective (attitude) The manner in which we deal with things emotionally, such as feelings, values, appreciation, enthusiasms, motivations, and attitudes. There are five major categories 3. Psychomotor (Skill) Physical movement, coordination, and use of the motor-skill areas. Development of these skills requires practice and is measured in terms of speed, precision, distance and procedures, or techniques in execution. There are seven major categories

Program Educational Objectives :

Program Educational Objectives 1. A competent engineer with an understanding of the fundamental engineering knowledge. An engineer with professional attitudes and ethics necessary in fulfilling his/her responsibilities towards the Creator, clients and the society An engineer who will uphold the Malay Language as a language of knowledge in the engineering field and at the same time has the ability to communicate in English An engineer who is able to adapt him/herself to the international/global work environment 5. An engineer who is able to lead an organisation based on knowledge of important current issues in engineering and experience 6. An engineer who is able to conduct research in his/her own organisation

Program Outcomes :

Program Outcomes Ability to acquire and apply knowledge of basic science and engineering fundamentals. Ability to communicate effectively, not only with engineers but also with the community at large. Having in-depth technical competence in a specific engineering discipline Ability to undertake problem identification, formulation and solution Ability to utilise a systems approach to design and evaluate operational performance. Ability to function effectively as an individual and in a group with the capacity to be a leader or manager as well as an effective team member

Program Outcomes :

Program Outcomes Having the understanding of the social, cultural, global and environmental responsibilities and ethics of a professional engineer and the need for sustainable development. Recognising the need to undertake lifelong learning, and possessing/acquiring the capacity to do so Ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyse and interpret data Ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams Having the knowledge of contemporary issues

Rekabentuk kursus :

Rekabentuk kursus Taxonomy Mengetahui Memahami Berkebolehan. Penekanan untuk mencapai Outcomes 1 = Outcomes program diberi sedikit penekanan. (Course Outcomes address Program Outcomes slightly) 2 = Penekanan sederhana (moderately) 3 = Penekanan banyak (substantively) Outcomes Kursus Goal Kursus

Slide 23:

Outcomes Kursus Matlamat Kursus The course goals for a given course state briefly the purpose of the course and its linkage, if any, to other courses. The course outcomes are a list of specific statements, which together describe what the student is able to do as the course progresses, with each objective linked to a subset of the  program outcomes (1) - (11), deemed appropriate by the faculty
