Slide 2:

Stick and TIG welders are great for simple welding and you can easily learn how to use a stick or a TIG welder. The TIG welder is suitable for aluminum and stainless steel welding, giving off finely finished welds.

Stick welding:

Stick welding This can be done indoors or outdoors and it can be done economically on creating bonds on dirty or rusty metals. The stick welder uses electric currents that flow through a gap between the metal and the welding stick, commonly known as an arc welding electrode. Stick welding is therefore also called arc welding. You can effectively use this welding equipment for metals that are thicker than an 18-gauge. Striking and maintaining arcs is difficult and therefore hard to use by first timers. The arc welder is therefore a perfect choice for hobbyists, farmers and for general home maintenance.

TIG welder:

TIG welder It provides the highest-quality welds and highly aesthetic welding beads. The TIG welder is different from the stick welder in that it uses non-consumable tungsten electrodes. A shielding gas (argon) is used to protect the TIG welders from atmospheric contamination. A filler metal is also involved. It uses plasma (ionized gas) to cut through the metal. This is a suitable welding equipment for thin sections of metal like copper alloys, aluminum, alloys of steel, and stainless steel. Because of the control you will have over the equipment, the quality of the welds is high. You will however need to replace the TIG welding torch.
