Defining Terms symmetry: the correspondence in size, form, and arrangement of parts on opposite sides of a plane, line, or point; regularity of form or arrangement in terms of like, reciprocal, or corresponding parts. repetition: the act of repeating; repeated action, performance, production, or presentation.

My Design Model : 

My Design Model I have selected an image from bbc.co.uk that depicts an artwork design from India. This is a rangoli, or an example of the Indian tradition of painted prayer. Rangoli are painted on the ground in front of houses using rice powder. This is a popular art form among Indian women.

This rangoli can be recreated with a few simple shapes :

I created two separate designs and grouped them together to begin a pattern :

In normal view, the pattern may be duplicated to make a repeated pattern :

Slide 10: 

I created several more copies of the pattern. Resized and rotated the image. Place the image in the Slide Master so it showed up on each slide. Change the color theme in the Slide Master so each slide is identical. Completing the process
